Row 12 – Final Base Row

In the ch-1 space of the shell, work 2 dc, 1 tr, 2 dc.

Work 7 chain-4 spaces along the opposite side of the base.

Slip stitch into the single crochet of the next ch-2 space of Round 2 to join.

Round 13

For each chain-4 space:
