ZigZag Waffle Stitch
ZigZag Waffle Stitch
Hello, dear reader! Welcome to our lovely blog, Handmade Learning Here. Today, we want to introduce you to a unique and beautiful stitch that we found in the delightful world of the internet. We are very excited to share with you the ZigZag Waffle Stitch Pattern by Naztazia. It’s an amazing stitch with a gorgeous texture and a charming visual appeal.
I have to confess, as soon as I saw this stitch, I thought of you, dear readers. But I couldn’t share it without testing it first to see how it works. So, I made a baby blanket, and it turned out adorable!
How to Crochet the ZigZag Waffle Stitch pattern
The ZigZag Waffle Stitch Pattern creates a beautifully textured effect, perfect for adding depth and interest to your projects.
I really enjoy using textured crochet stitches because they add a cool, 3D effect to your projects. This pattern uses a technique where you make three front post double crochet stitches, with a chain of 3 stitches between them.
If you know how to make a basic chain and double crochet stitch, you’ll find this pattern pretty easy to follow! This stitch looks great on items like scarves, blankets, handbags, hats, and sweaters. Some people say it looks like a zigzag waffle stitch or a 3D chevron stitch.
For this example, I’m using medium weight yarn and a size H (5 mm) crochet hook. You can use different types of yarn and matching hooks if you like. This pattern works well with almost any yarn!
