Kingdom Quilt Pattern

Today I’m so excited to share a project that absolutely warmed my heart the moment I saw it: the Kingdom Quilt Pattern, designed by the talented Ariga Wilson.
If you’re anything like me, someone who just loves turning colorful fabrics into cozy, snuggly hugs stitched with love, then this quilt will be an absolute joy to make.
About the Pattern
This is a beginner-friendly quilt, perfect for anyone just starting their creative journey, as well as for seasoned quilters who are looking for something fun and relaxing. The finished quilt measures 66” x 78”, an ideal size to curl up with on the sofa while sipping a hot cup of tea.
It was designed to highlight the gorgeous Kingdom fabric collection and comes in two charming colorways:

Blossom – soft, romantic, and oh-so-sweet

Blue – fresh, calm, and serene
Personally, I completely fell in love with Blossom—it feels like bringing the sweetness of a blooming spring right into your home!
What You’ll Need
Like every great quilt, this one starts with fabric that will bring the design to life. You’ll need a mix of contrasting shades to create Half-Square Triangles (HSTs)—which, let’s be honest, are not only simple but also incredibly versatile.
A little tip from my own experience: take your time cutting and always press your seams open. Trust me, it makes a WORLD of difference when you start putting the rows together and want everything to line up just right.
The Process
The heart of this quilt is in those HSTs. You’ll sew, cut, press… and before you know it, you’ll have stacks of little blocks ready to play with! Then comes the fun part: arranging them into twelve rows of ten blocks each, sewing them together, adding the borders, and voilà—your quilt top is ready!
My absolute favorite part is the final assembly. Watching all the blocks transform into a harmonious design feels almost magical!
