Paw Motif Pattern

Round 2: Chain 1, single crochet in the same stitch, then in the next stitch, half double crochet and double crochet. In the next stitch, work two treble crochets. Continue with two double crochets and a half double crochet in the following stitch. Repeat this pattern around, ending with a slip stitch into the first single crochet.
Finish off and weave in the ends with white yarn. Attach the yarn where you just slip stitched.
Round 3: Chain 1, single crochet in the same stitch, then single crochet in the next two stitches. Work 2 single crochets in each of the next 5 stitches. Single crochet in the next 2 stitches, then single crochet 3 stitches together. Continue with 2 single crochets in each of the next 6 stitches, single crochet 3 stitches together, single crochet in the next 2 stitches, and finally, work 2 single crochets in each of the last 5 stitches. Slip stitch to the first single crochet.
Finish off and weave in the ends with dark taupe yarn. Find the single crochet 3 stitches together followed by 2 single crochets in the next stitch, then attach the yarn 3 stitches back from the single crochet 3 stitches together.
Round 4: Chain 2, work 2 double crochets in the same stitch. Then work 3 double crochets in the next stitch. Skip 3 stitches, then work 3 double crochets in each of the next 2 stitches. Skip 4 stitches, then work 3 double crochets in each of the next 2 stitches. Skip 3 stitches, then work 3 double crochets in the next stitch. Finish with 2 double crochets and 1 half double crochet.
Round 5: Turn your work. Skip 2 stitches, then work 3 double crochets in the next 2 stitches. Skip 2 stitches, then slip stitch into the space. Repeat this sequence a total of 3 times, then slip stitch to the chain-2 space.
Finish off and weave in the ends with white yarn. Attach the yarn at the base of the small paw print.
Round 6: Chain 1, single crochet in the chain space, then single crochet into the slip stitch. Single crochet in the next 2 stitches, then work 2 single crochets in each of the next 2 stitches. Front post treble crochet into the single crochets from Round 3. Repeat this sequence 2 more times. Single crochet in the next 2 stitches, then work 2 single crochets in each of the next 2 stitches. Finally, single crochet in the next 2 stitches, single crochet in the top of the half double crochet stitch, and single crochet around the side of the half double crochet stitch. Slip stitch to the base.
Finish off and weave in the ends.
Paw Square Pattern:
Rnd 1: Start by chaining 1, then make 1 single crochet in the same stitch. Chain 3. Next, skip 3 stitches, make 1 single crochet, chain 3 Repeat this sequence three more times. Then, skip a slip stitch, skip 3 stitches, make 1 single crochet, chain 3, skip 3 stitches, make 1 single crochet, chain 1, skip 3 stitches, make a half double crochet, chain 1.
Rnd 2: Turn your work over. Make 1 single crochet, then chain 5. Now, make 1 single crochet in the next space, chain 3 Repeat this sequence five times. After that, skip 3 stitches, make 1 single crochet, chain 3 Repeat this sequence twice.
