Nobody needs a blanket when they are in front of the television watching a movie or reading a book, or when they are sitting on the porch doing another beautiful crochet job.

Blankets are beautiful pieces that everyone loves! When made of crochet, they become even more special, gaining a delicate and exclusive touch. Just think about having a blanket made by you, how special it makes it. I have a blanket that was made by my great-grandmother and I keep it to this day, every time I pick it up I feel moved with great joy, in a way the time she dedicated to making this blanket to give me and the love she put in piece stayed there as a legacy and I always feel that.

FOR YOU TO BE INSPIRED

This blanket we brought here today, Grandma’s rainbow square blanket is stunning, don’t you think? But don’t worry, you don’t have to be scared. This delicate work appears to be very difficult to do, but in fact, on the contrary, it is very simple and easy to do. Me and another friend of mine who collaborated on our blog made this blanket and we share the same opinion, it’s a very practical and fun process, it’s not a job that will make you confused because it has a repetitive pattern. At first you may even notice the presence of some knots, but with practice you will get the hang of it and learn to hide these knots. The beautiful Rainbow Granny Square is a delight to work with.

You should not worry about the difficulties you may have at the beginning, all work is like that, we start and feel some difficulties until we get the hang of it, but after that you will see that the process becomes simpler and you will really enjoy doing it . That’s why we strongly recommend that you read the pattern calmly, understand it and also watch the video tutorial, do it together with some yarn left over from another work, that way you will be able to execute your project with more mastery and improve your skill with your hooks.

The rainbow has a very important and different meaning for each person, a symbol of love, hope, that there is always something good to come, its colors bring their meanings to this beautiful piece which makes it even more amazing. Children love it, because it is very colorful, small children and especially babies love these beautiful pieces. However, if you found the piece too colorful and you think it wouldn’t match your personal taste, the suggestion we give is that you use lighter tones, or use the same color in different tones, making a nice gradient. Or use colors of your choice that you think match.

Baby blanket Rainbow Granny Square

If you are going to work on a project for the little ones, a baby blanket, choosing pastel shades of colors would be a great option. We warn you that in the case of baby blankets you should always be alert when choosing the yarn you are going to work with, as they have more sensitive skin than adults, so look for hypoallergenic yarns, the ones most recommended by professionals for parts. made exclusively for babies and children. Big companies always follow this to the letter.
